1918 Apparel Company embraces the rhythm, swag, and spirit of Detroit and its people. Inspired by Detroit's first Black mayor, Coleman A. Young, who served as mayor of Detroit from 1974 to 1994, 1918 represents the proud legacy and resilience of our city. RAW and UNYIELDING. It's about community and Detroit love. When you rock it, that's what you embody!

A portion of all proceeds benefit the Coleman A. Young Foundation, a 501 (c) (3)  charitable organization established in 1982 dedicated to preparing Detroit youths for success in college and in life. Since its inception, the CAYF has provided more than 511 scholarships, valued at over $7.2 million.
